Petko Dourmana, is a media artist and organiser of interdisciplinary projects between art and information technology. He is co-founder of the InterSpace Media Art Centre, Sofia, which is a non-commercial combination of artists, computer scientists and media activists. 2008 he was rewarded by the ERSTE Stiftung and Edith-Ruß-Haus for media art, where he developed his project Post Global Warming Survival Kit. His multimedia projects have been shown internationally since the nineties at several exhibitions and festivals such as transmediale.07 in Berlin, Bent Festival in New York, Metabolism and Communication at ZKM Karlsruhe, ISEA 2004 in Helsinki and Tallinn.
