Vertical Distractions is based on the city of Frankfurt/M and its skyline. Feser explores the architecture that he sees and its effect on the body. He develops physical extensions of the body that strangely oscillate between clothing, prosthesis and sculpture-like tumors and that explore patterns of identity and the idea of the natural in an ironic and neurotic way. Urban landscape as an aspect of the human organism.
