In 2005 seven artists from Germany and Japan traveled Japan in a converted bus to explore the use of mobile digital technology for their artistic practice. MobLab is framing individual projects which are dealing with the conditions and possibilities of production and presentation opened up by a mobile evironment. MobLab is a project by Goethe Institute Tokyo, the Department for Foreign Affairs and Germany in Japan 2005 / 2006 in cooperation with transmediale.
