"(Tell me why) The Epistelomogy of Disco" by John Di Stefano, scan from the VideoFest ‘92 program booklet.

Gays have their own cults and rituals - in a disco, dancing, wearing the legendary Levi’s 501. A humourous, sometimes sarcastic- mocking look at a scene that is not as superficial as it seems. A phenomenology of gay culture that questions the commercialized and social contexts. One understands that the disco is more than just a place to seek pleasure: a cultural space where an elementary feeling of company is formed.
