"Drink Deep" by Jem Cohen, scan from the VideoFest ‘92 program booklet.

A piece of video poetry that deals with water, the human body and the way, their interaction changes in the vicinity of big cities. Bodies seem to be freed by being part of a landscape, a circle, without subordinating themselves. Swimming freely in the true sense of the word. Opposed to them are bodies that are moving in the bowels of the city, the organism of streets in which the rain is simply annoying and something to be protected from. Jumping across a puddle seems to be a crazy thing - fortunately some are still jumping.
