A film on being a stranger in your own country. A little town deep in East-Germany is this grey and bright place where the violence of daily changes can be seen. The streets are full of mirrors in which known and unknown signs overlap... Being torn apart is the feeling that dominates inter-human relationships. Being governed by western standards more and more every day leads to the growing of fear and defensiveness towards strangers. Nationalist feelings surface.
