This experimental dance video is video artist Jean de Boysson and choreographer Hyonok Kim 's hommage to the modern composer Isang Yun 's composition “Teile dich Nacht", inspired by three poems by Nelly Sachs. The dance evokes a black bird precariously balancing heaven on one wing and hell on the other. The images through the ebb and flow of light and infinite dark- ness embody the journey through relentless adversity and a longing for deliverance.
