He travelled by bus from his north Florida home to be at ground zero on 9/11. He felt it was his duty as an American and a patriot to be there to commemorate with thousands of other Americans this tragic anniversary. He even wrote a poem to mark the event. American Dreamer is the portrait of one young man searching for his way and his identity in a country that also seems to be suffering from the confusion of an identity crisis due in large part to the trauma of 9/11.
