The transmediale Award is dedicated to current positions in digital arts and media. It is an open competition, into which artists are invited to enter their current work. The jury of this year's award competition consisted of Ellen Pau (Hong Kong/China), Mike Stubbs (Melbour- ne/Australia), Inke Arns (Dortmund/Germany), Eva De Groote (Ghent/Belgium) und Miguel Leal (Porto/Portugal). The jury nominated the art works described here for the transmediale. 07 prize, which will be awarded on 3 February at 20 h. In addition, the jury awarded a number of Honourable Mentions.
