‘Daimon' is a project in installments which follows the work of the writer, philosopher and anthropologist Georges Bataille. In terms of its etymology (diaomai, ‘to lacerate, to divide'), daimon means the ‘ripper’, “the one who divides and separates". Daimon’s leitmotif is therefore a tension, a conflict which is impossible to solve, but proper to human nature 'insolvable', a source of glory and ecstasy, of laughter and tears. Conceived from the perspective of a chamber cinema, ‘Daimon’ is a video installation in which with 3D techniques are experimented with, generating relief like images, enabling the eye to become a tactile tool.
