Julian Pakula attended the famous Lodz Film Academy. After completing his studies in 1975 he became a successful maker of documentaries. His recurring interests were in sub-cultures and "juvenile pathology". In this production, made for Polish television, he attempts to reconstruct the stages of an unbelievable crime: a young man argues with his parents, and after being ridiculed by his disrespectful girlfriend for doing so he decides to murder her. The girl should decide how she prefers to die. The outcome really is a murder, carried out by the protagonist with four of his friends.
