Hans-Jörg Ebert is the director of an educational establishment in Berlin. For some years, he has increasingly looked after the internal security of the establishment: pupils ready for aggression, teachers ready for retirement - he does not turn a blind eye. Every day there are incidents, and a few months ago he himself was the victim of an act of violence. Grams draws the portrait of one of his father's old friends with documentary sensitivity.
