Was Romanian revolutionary Calin Alexandru murdered (an act of revenge? for political reasons ?) or did he commit suicide? All his papers - diaries, letters, poems - vanished immediately after his death. Last year, a few pages of his later diaries were tracked down after months of investigation. The fragments are the basis for looking at the life and death of an unusual young man. This documentary exerts a fascination by leaving the following question unanswered: are we seeing a factual history or a metaphor for the political upheavals in Romania?
