On the basis o f artists' video and the documentary, we want to investigate the question o f how significant these technical tools are, and which areas they tangibly influence: • forms o f expression and composition (aesthetics, narrative forms, camera shots and movements, interview techniques)
• choice o f subjects
• production (audio-visual research,
locations, budget questions, crew size) • vocational profiles (editor as director,
societal issues, unions)
