Mobility, travel, journeying and exile are part of a human being's basic experiences. Although they are still couched in negative terms such as uprooting and homelessness, these forms of movement have for a long time been constituent parts of modern societies. Displaced Travellers takes place in the spaces of freely chosen or enforced mobility: in airports, streets in foreign cities, and finally with an eccentric fantasy about the longing to travel in outer space.
