"En Pire" is a documentation on memory, time and cinema, on "the moving pictures", a way to stop the flow of time. First and fore most, "En Pire" is an essay, framed by the same images at the beginning and at the end: the sky, filmed from a car in motion, color images, a woman in a hotel room, black-and-white images. Interspersed are texts, images and sounds from the stream of memories. Just memories. "I don't remember the story, only the atmosphere."
