Lux: "While flying to Arizona, I observed various phenomena in the behaviour of people who were afraid of flying: nervous twitches, cramps, states of anxiety. I began to put together an imaginary puzzle. I found the missing pieces in an aeroplane dump in Tucson. The wreckage reminded me of the Second World War in Budapest. We used to play in the wreckage of planes that had been shot down, and we couldn't understand how such huge hunks of metal could stay up in the air."
