In the video I Came Back for You the artist films herself with photo booth on her computer in a youth hostel room, when she is on study trip to San Francisco. She is trying to Krump. Krumping is a street dance from the United States, and the youths that started it, saw it as a way of escaping gang life. The artist has a feeling of a desire to dance and get out aggressiveness and frustration, and at the same time a fascination for a community where the dance where developed, but where she not quite is “fitting in”: a wish for to integrate totally. The soundtrack on the video is the artist singing a rap by Lil Kim.
