Lela, the protagonist, is looking for her friend Sreco - an incredibly infinite nightmarish journey through the urban landscape of the eighties that mirrors the rise of an alternative culture and the violent political changes of this period. Fragments of history clash in the same abrupt way as the characters change identities and emotions, it comes close to a vision by Burroughs that owes most of its effect to the use of modern video technology.
