Janneke Adema is a PhD student at Coventry University. Currently she is writing a dissertation on the future of the scholarly book. Her research practice focuses on issues of openness, remix and authorship and on the material production of the book, through which she explores and critically analyses the discourse and power struggle surrounding the academic monograph.
