A sinister, macabre dance tape evoking the late Weimar Republic, its celebrations and the conflicts that led to World War II. The music - Kurt Weill’s "Little Lieutenant of the Loving God” - was arranged by John Zorn, the background pictures come from an old film that was composed for the original song and link up with the unusual solo dance by Sally Silver.
Despite the dark subject matter, some space for irony remains.
