transmediale’s partner program continues after the festival: on 12 February, the symposium McLuhan vs. Kittler: Ecologies of Environments and the performative video discussion series McLuminations take place at Humboldt University of Berlin from 15:30. The event is part of the partner project Feedback #2: Marshall McLuhan and the Arts. War and Peace in the Global Village, curated by Baruch Gottlieb with Marie-José Sondeijker.
