Roberta Buiani works at the intersection between science, technology and the arts, challenging their traditional functions and looking for threads that facilitate their cross-contamination. For the last few years, she has been grappling with the “viral” as a concept with powerful transformative potentials that can be turned into a creative practice. She is a fellow at Lakehead University where she explores the role and the political significance of the arts in a scientific context.
