Salvatrice Settis is a heteronym used by a group of activists active in the Italian scene since several years. Born as a reaction to the Italian political framework, and specifically as a critique to the intellectual left that says, specifically: "If we look at a castle as an object that serves no other purpose than to open up a restaurant, it would be better to turn it down". If castles are only a reminder of a glorious past and the only reason to turn them down would be the construction of a restaurant, Salvatrice Settis says: "Let's turn them down anyway!"
