Strategies of news reports and footage manipulation during the Gulf War are analysed on three levels: 1. On a literary level using the observations and impressions of a person that returned to the area after the war. 2. On a level of official bulletins with their quality of being unreal and filtered beyond recognition. 3. On a subjective level, an attempt to represent human aspects and find a way through the polished material. The tape tries to transpose the technical and digital possibilities of television to other contexts, to form a visual language of its own.
