Peru. The law of prisoners is one of survival, the rule of the game for destroying the country and diminishing its population. Heroes greet us from movie screens, uniforms walk the streets bearing arms. The people, paralysed by teargas, resemble the agonized cattle that is led to the butcher. Everybody for himself. The distance to the neighbour: the span between the finger and the trigger. Animals are slaughtered because they are edible, men are shot for being annoying. New gene-rations are born out of sheer desperation hoping for less painful battle
