transmediale.10 Satellites
As part of FUTURITY NOW! transmediale.10 presents and collaborates with a number of partner organisations creating a network of satellite locations across Berlin for showcasing the latest works in the realm of digital and electronic arts. Together with more established venues such as [DAM]Berlin, Galerie ZERO or c-base, the Satellites programme is also meant to introduce new platforms for media art including Substitut, ART CLAIMS IMPULSE or The Future Gallery to a broad audience. This year, major transmediale Award nominated works will be presented by two of our primary event partners, the Collegium Hungaricum Berlin (.CHB) with The Coincidence Engines I & II by [The User], and the Instituto Cervantes with Chapter 1: The Discovery by Félix Luque Sánchez, while INTERSECTION, a new site-specific interactive work by transmediale’s 2010 Marshall McLuhan Lecturer – robotics and telepresence pioneer Graham Smith – can be seen at the Potsdamer Platz S-Bahn station and the Marshall McLuhan Salon of the Canadian Embassy.
