A set of kits, comprising a sample of shredded e-waste and a small booklet in a printed box, will be distributed during all days of transmediale. The booklet includes a set of unresponded-to anxieties: questions and concerns about the current state of maker/hacker culture. The booklet also includes blank space for participants to write in, glue in, scratch in, and anything else. The kits will then form the basis for a two-hour moderated discussion near the end of the festival. Following the event, a summary publication (again, in the form of a kit) will be issued, presenting the results.
