On Fridays, artists and scientists in residence at the Vilém Flusser Archive at the Berlin University of the Art get together to read, study and discuss the thought and work of Vilém Flusser. On the special occasion of the transmediale 2012, our discussion series will take place weekly. It will be open to everybody who would like take part in the discussions. We will read selections from Flusser‘s essays and newly translated books. The events are held in English.

The _Vilém_Flusser_Archiv keeps the work of philosopher and cultural theorist Vilém Flusser (1920-1991). As the intersection of the international Flusser research, the archive extends its collection by supporting artistic and scientific projects, which are related to Flusser. With several projects like the Vilém Flusser Residency Programme and the International Flusser Lectures the archive keeps his ideas alive.
