The video ist built like an American television serial with a variety of different characters and plots. However, the real story is that of images - "real" and on television - of the interaction between the body and gestures, between voices and songs, between Ida and Winnie, her mysterious double. The show, entitled "Nouvelles", inspired by the work of Gertrude Stein "Ida", was produced at the Avignon Festival in 1988.
