Kamen Stoyanov
Kamen Stoyanov was born 1977 in Ruse, Bulgaria. He began studying Art at the National Art Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria. Since 2005 he studies at the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna. Solo Exhibitions: 2009 "Looking for an Art Piece" Kunstverein Salzburg, "Chinese Rap and other stories" Inda Gallery, Budapest 2008, "Forget it, we can not afford this" Studio Galeria, Budapest, "At Arm's` Length" Museum Moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig, Vienna. Kamen attended on the follwing selected group exhibitions: 2009 "Common History and its Private Stories. Geschichte und Geschichten" Museum auf Abruf, Vienna, "Flavors of Austria, Taf- the Art Foundation" Athens 2008, MANIFESTA 7, Italy, Gyumri 6th International Biennial of Contemporary Art 2008, Armenia, "For a happier tomorrow" Gallery Tom Christoffersen, Copenhagen, Denmark 2007, "Nightcomers Videoscreening" International Istanbul Biennale Awards & Residencies: 2008. In 2007 he got the Kunstpreis Europas Zukunft of the Galerie für Zeitgenössische Kunst Leipzig and the Prize for Visual Arts of the City of Vienna 2007 and MUMOK Prize at Viennartfair.
