Sascha Lobo
Sascha Lobo
Sascha Lobo (1975) is a Berlin born blogger, author, journalist and copywriter, with a main focus on internet and new technologies and its impact on social development. After his first Advertising Agency, specialised in New Economy went bankrupt, together with Holm Friebe he published the book ‘We Call it Work’. He is co-editor of the collective blog Riesenmaschine (Giantmachine), which received the Grimme Award 2006. In 2007 he co-founded together with Johnny Haeusler (Spreeblick) adnation, a company which sells ads in blogs. Sascha Lobo is a controversal figure in the blogger scene. The way in which he straight-forwardly exploits the economic potential of his blog has been seen as a provocation whilst at the same time disclosing the little defined nature of a journalistic – or related, ethical codex – with respect to this realm.
