Four entirely different ways of appropriating light and space are at the core of this programme.

Four entirely different ways of appropriating light and space are at the core of this programme. For Studies in Transfalumination the artist, besides using light performatively within his work, also manipulates the projector of the screening. Black Rain visualises the scientific images of solar winds gathered by satellites. The Moon Goose Experiment pursues the Syberian myth of the moon geese which – following reports from the 17th century – annually travel between the earth and the moon. Ascension compiles rare – partly unreleased – archive material of Soviet space travel programmes, including the cruelties against man and animal which seemed necessary for conquering outer space.
