THANK YOU!
THANK YOU!
After a brief extension in support of free and independent media in Haiti, transmediale.10's many lights and lasers have now been switched off! Thank you Berlin and to all of the festival artists, guests and professionals who came from around the world to participate at FUTURITY NOW! It was an exhilarating and creatively volatile week, from which we hope many new projects, networks and collaborations will emerge. Congratulations to transmediale Award winner Michelle Teran (Buscando al Sr. Goodbar), Distinction prize winners Aaron Koblin and Daniel Massey (Bicycle Built for Two Thousand), and Vilém Flusser Theory Award winner Warren Neidich! If you missed some of transmediale.10's partner and satellite events across Berlin during the festival, many are still on and open including the Art of Engineering exhibition at the Deutsches Technikmuseum hosted by our partners Ferchau GmbH, the showing of award nominee works The Coincidence Engines 1 & 2 by [The User] at the Collegium Hungaricum Berlin (.CHB), as well as exhibitions by Agnes Meyer-Brandis at the Schering Stiftung's art space on Unter den Linden, GaMe! at the Galerie [DAM]Berlin, Esquisses at substitut, and Reflective Interventions featuring works by Julius von Bismarck, Benjamin Maus and others at Art Claims Impulse! The festival extends a big thanks to its many supporters including the German Federal Cultural Foundation, the House of World Cultures, the Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg and the German Federal Agency for Civic Education, and especially to our technical and logistics partners who also made the special extension of the exhibitions possible, including serve-u, Geiertronic GmbH, laserfabrik showlaser GmbH, the Instituto Cervantes and Herbstradio 99.1 FM.
Keep in touch, and we look forward to seeing you at transmediale.11!
