Doug Pope began his career as a theatre educator. In 1974, he took this knowledge and applied it to the commercial world. He has worked as a production manager and technical director for numerous touring events, from musical to corporate and political. Doug and Joshua White met in Pittsburgh in 1961 when the two were students at Carnegie Tech (now Carnegie Mellon University) and have been professional and personal friends ever since.
