installation

Over 400 hours of raw material from Henning Lohner's personal archives constitute the resource for this film work, the concept of which is to use a sequence of projectors. The installation develops a network, introducing interviews as well as landscapes to a new and free form, shifting from very short to long view angles. Famous contemporary artists and philosophers personally comment on the very existence of mankind or just talk about everyday life. Henning Lohner arranges his raw material into an equal coexistence between speech, picture, and sound. This leads to a kind of global talk.
Like a mosaic, the different vi- deo(screen) surfaces in the room fit into one another. A total of eleven channels show as many different scenarios. The viewer is left to decide for himself whether to focus attention on one sequence or on the whole composition.
11 anti-reflex sheets of glass, 11 LCD projectors, 11 video- and audio channels, automatic sequence control
