The ‘transportation’ of guests and visitors in formal festival and public situations requires the submission of ‘self to a constant state of transience without losing the 'body' in the contexts of circulation and movement, ambiguous spaces and machine technologies. It's no subtle secret, the participants here want you to listen to them and they want to change you. They want to induce mechanisms for choice and enable you to select and create structures for flexible and strategic action. 12 H DIS-LOCATE-NET - SITES OF CONSPIRACY The instability of our position in today's world leads to a constant disturbance of location. While exploring the very definitions of these locations, the panel will examine how our relationship with place is continuously shifting through the impact of new media and questioning how we can 'conspirare' with place, when we are mutually conspired against it. Artists and curators will join together to present their relevant projects (Including that of Dislocate, Radiator / Trampoline and Urban Screens) and enter into a critical debate on the conspiracies of place. 13:30 H Marko Stamenkovic and Bojana Kunst APPROPRIATING IDENTITY: JANEZ JANSA AND THE SILENT CELL NETWORK 2007 three artists collectively took on the name of the current Slovene Prime Minister. Both they and the SilentCell Network engage the notion of conspiracy as acts of strategic and symbolic appropriation, where not only the media and the public at large are duped, but where a subtle transnational reconfiguration of imagination and desire are aimed at. 15 H Société Réaliste THE ARTIST, THE SCIENTIST AND THE INDUSTRIAL Société Réaliste present their collection, Le Producteur, which is inspired by major utopian thinkers of the early 19th century. With their work they critically investigate the dynamics of our common political, social and economical representation systems. 16 H Conservas Barcelona ADVANCED REALITIES We are living in a time of tension in our cities. We offer crisis-struck governments and political parties solutions to pacify their citizens' discontent and to stop citizens taking their rights into their own hands.
