Ana Pečar (1977, Slovenia) is a video and intermedia artist and focuses on human-space particularities. Pečar is currently working on the topic of mythologies in remote parts of Slovenia. She seeks to examine the unconditional values of contemporary globalism.
Pečar has exhibited in Božidar Jakac Gallery, Kostanjevica; Art Gallery, Maribor; Gallery of Contemporary Art, Celje; Museum of Contemporary Art, Rijeka; Museum of Architecture, Ljubljana. Her work is included in Slovene Art Collections (Art Gallery Maribor, Božidar Jakac Gallery, Kostanjevica) and reviews (Tomaž Brejc: Slovene Art in 20th and 21st century).
