Lo King-wah, born in 1957, lives in Hong Kong. Lo was an active independent filmmaker in the 1980s. His films include: They are on The Fringes of Society (Film of Merits in Documentary Section at Hong Kong Independent Short Films Exhibition 1981) and The Whimpers (Best film in Drama Section at Hong Kong Independent Short Films Exhibition 1982). He then worked as a TV producer and reporter for over twenty years. In 2009, he started a blog named A Grey Reporters Words, commenting mainly on social and political events at home on the mainland. Now a retiring citizen, he wishes to spend more time on writing and video-filming with a more personal touch on the city he calls home. Beside Confront Not (2015) and Seoi and Jun (2015), he produced two other films in recent years: As the leaves fall (2016) and 709 Fellows (2016).
