Multimedia, innovatives Fernsehen und Video bildeten erneut den Schwerpunkt des Festivalgeschehens. Zusätzlich wurden auch für die Medienterritorien relevante technologische Entwicklungen sowie philosophische Diskurse in das Programm eingebunden: Hirnforschung und Neuroästhetik, Nanotechnologie und eine durchaus selbstkritische Diskussion um die inflationäre Vielfalt futuristischer Diskurse.
