This is our most frequent newsletter. Twice a month you’ll receive the latest updates on transmediale and its network. • German version below 

Prepare yourself for transmediale 2019: Browse the complete program of the transmediale opening night on our website and plan your festival visit by compiling your individual schedule and checking our updated visit page. In case you missed out on getting a festival or day pass, there are still tickets for single events on sale. Furthermore, most panels and all keynotes will be live-streamed on our website for those who cannot attend the festival in person.

transmediale 2019 Opening Night

A tech tutorial on emotions in machine learning, a CryptoRave, a techno-feminist manifestation: On 31 January, this year's festival edition (https://2019.transmediale.de/theme) kicks off at Haus der Kulturen der Welt, where we will present a diverse opening program (https://2019.transmediale.de/content/transmediale-2019-opening) which features talks, performances, interventions, and looped screenings throughout the night. Celebrate the opening of transmediale 2019 with us—the admission is free!

Plan Your Festival Visit

How to get the best out of your festival days: Put together your individual festival schedule (https://2019.transmediale.de/events/schedule) by filtering events and setting bookmarks. On our updated visit page (https://2019.transmediale.de/visit) , you can find practical information on the festival and our venue—from accessibility to directions and opening hours to food options.

Tickets for Single Events

Festival and Day Passes are now sold out. However, you can still buy tickets for single events (https://2019.transmediale.de/visit#tickets) in our ticket shop—and there is a wide range of events which can be attended for free (https://2019.transmediale.de/events/schedule?field_admission_tid=9042) . You also have the chance to snatch up one of the few remaining day passes for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: a small amount of them will be available directly at the venue on the respective day and sold on a first come, first served basis (from 10:00).

Festival Livestream

As in previous years, we offer a livestream of most panels and keynotes directly on our start page (https://transmediale.de/) for everyone who cannot attend transmediale in person. Audio and video documentation will be made available online shortly after the festival.

Solltet ihr keinen Festival- oder Tagespass mehr bekommen haben, sind in unserem Ticketshop immer noch Tickets für Einzelveranstaltungen erhältlich. Außerdem werden die meisten Panels und alle Keynotes per Livestream auf unserer Website übertragen.

Feiert mit uns die Eröffnung der transmediale 2019 – der Eintritt ist frei!

Auf unserer aktualisierten Visit-Seite (https://2019.transmediale.de/de/visit)  findet ihr außerdem praktische Informationen zum Festival und unserem Veranstaltungsort – von Barrierefreiheit über Anfahrt und Öffnungszeiten bis hin zu Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten.

Tickets für Einzelveranstaltungen

Festival- und Tagespässe sind jetzt ausverkauft. Allerdings sind weiterhin Tickets für Einzelveranstaltungen (https://2019.transmediale.de/de/visit#tickets)  in unserem Ticketshop erhältlich – und es gibt wie immer eine große Auswahl von kostenlosen Veranstaltungen (https://2019.transmediale.de/de/events/schedule?field_admission_tid=9042) . Ihr habt außerdem die Chance, euch einen der letzten verbliebenen Tagespässe für Freitag, Samstag oder Sonntag zu sichern: Ein kleiner Restbestand wird am jeweiligen Tag direkt am Veranstaltungsort verfügbar sein (first come, first served – ab 10:00).

Festival-Livestream

Wie in den vergangenen Jahren bieten wir einen Livestream der meisten Panels und Keynotes direkt auf unserer Website (https://transmediale.de/de)  an – für all diejenigen, die die transmediale nicht vor Ort erleben können. Die Audio- und Videodokumentation wird kurz nach dem Festival online zugänglich gemacht.
