Auf der transmediale 2013 wird ein allumfassender, konzeptueller „Fahrplan“ für die sich jährlich ändernden Themen geschaffen. Es handelt sich um einen Rahmen („file_under:“), innerhalb dessen eine weitergehende, konzeptuelle Diskussion angeregt werden und der sowohl das Festival als auch das ganzjährige Programm umgeben soll. Die Diskussion wird während des Festivals, vor und nach dem Festival (in Veranstaltungen unserer Partnerinstitutionen) sowie in experimentellen Formen der Dokumentation und Publikationen zu Geltung kommen.
As an overall conceptual road-map to the yearly changing themes, at transmediale 2013 we also initiate the “file_under:” framework as an ongoing conceptual discussion surrounding the festival and our all-year programme. The “file_under:” activity will take place through workshops between partner organisations, public discussions at the festival and all-year events, experimental forms of documentation and publications.
Das Festivalprogramm entfaltet sich anhand von vier Themensträngen: Users, Networks, Paper, Desire. Das Festival wird sich ansehen, was diese Stränge BWPWAP bedeuteten, was sie heute darstellen und was sie in Zukunft sein könnten.
The programme follows four threads: Users, Networks, Paper, Desire. The festival will look at what these threads meant BWPWAP, what they are today and how they will develop in the future.
