Das Vorspiel von transmediale und CTM ist ein Programm aus dezentralen Partnerveranstaltungen im Bereich der digitalen Kunst und Kultur sowie experimentellem Sound und Musik. Eine Vielzahl von Partnerorten lädt dabei ein lokales und internationales Publikum zu einer Serie von Ausstellungseröffnungen, Performances, künstlerischen Interventionen, Künstler_innengesprächen sowie Sonderveranstaltungen in ganz Berlin ein.

Das Vorspiel-Programm wird seit 2012 von reSource transmedial culture berlin, dem Ganzjahresprogramm der transmediale, koordiniert.

Das reSource Netzwerk ist ein informeller Nebenzweig des reSource Programms und nimmt durch Online-Diskussionen über die reSource Mailingliste und gemeinsame Meetings Gestalt an. Außerdem liefert es Input für das jährliche transmediale und CTM Pre-Festivalprogramm “Vorspiel”.
Darüber hinaus besteht seit August 2012 eine Mailingliste (resource-net), die alle Mitglieder des reSource-Netzwerks umfasst und allen Interessierten offensteht.

The reSource network is an informal offshoot of the reSource programme and takes form as an online discussion through the reSource mailing list, physical meetings and an input to the yearly transmediale and ctm pre-festival programme. A series of meetings was initiated in 2011 and present participants (artists, curators or anyone interested in the nexus of technology, media and culture) a chance to meet, discuss and organise. The meetings are based on the premise of building a community related to 'technology based arts' (in the broader sense) in Berlin.

With the Vilém Flusser Residency Programme for Artistic Research, the Vilém Flusser Archive at the University of Arts (UdK) and transmediale are calling upon artistic research to actively explore the capabilities and limitations of transdisciplinary and transmedial situations in contemporary culture. | Submission Deadline: 30 November 2015

transmediale and CTM's Vorspiel is a programme of distributed partner events in the field of digital art and culture and experimental sound and music, where a variety of partner venues invite local and international audiences to a series of exhibition openings, performances, interventions, artist talks and special events across the city of Berlin.

The Vorspiel programme is since 2012 coordinated by reSource transmedial culture berlin, the all-year programme of the transmediale festival.

A meetup for spaces and actors at the intersection of art, technology and the politics of digital culture. Organised by transmediale/reSource in cooperation with SPEKTRUM. Participants include Art Laboratory Berlin, Panke, SPEKTRUM, Serhat Köksal (Istanbul), Kristoffer Gansing (transmediale).
