A conversation with American filmmaker Laura Poitras, who has chronicled America post-9/11 with her films. Along with Glenn Greenwald, she brought to light the documents of the NSA affair. At transmediale 2014, with Jacob Appelbaum and Trevor Paglen, Poitras will take part in the keynote event Art as Evidence, on January 30, 20.30-22.30, HKW. 

OCTO-P7C-1 Intertubular Pneumatic Packet Distribution System was transmediale 2013's Official Miscommunication Platform. Last December, during the 30C3 Chaos Computer Club Congress a development of OCTO-P7C-1 named Seidenstrasse was collaboratively created. Seidenstrasse is a revision of the OCTO installation as an Open Artwork.

Form May to the end of August 2013 John Wild worked with Tatiana Bazzichelli, at transmediale, on a project to map the reSource network of independent technology based art and hacker spaces in the city of Berlin. The mapping project of the network developed into a practical Cartesian
rationalism and a Psychogeographic abstraction, generating respectively a functional Android Mobile Phone application, and a noise performance. 

In addition to his Marshall McLuhan 2014 lecture, Douglas Coupland will exhibit his post-digital Slogans for the Early 21st Century (2013-14) in an exhibition presented by Daniel Faria Gallery, transmediale and the Embassy of Canada at the Or Gallery Berlin.
