reSource for transmedial culture stellt neben den anderen Programmbereichen des Festivals einen wesentlichen Teil des transmediale 2012 Programms dar. In einer Reihe von Workshops, Diskussionen und Performances entfalten sich die fünf thematische Stränge von reSource.

The reSource for transmedial culture constitutes a substantial part of the transmediale 2012 programme with a constellation of workshops, talks and performances distributed into five different sub-themes: reSource Methods, reSource Activism, reSource Networks, reSource Markets, reSource Sex. 

Vom 16.-18. November fand die in/compatible research Konferenz im Vilém Flusser Archiv der UdK Berlin statt. Organisiert vom Digital Aesthetics Research Centre/Centre for Digital Urban Living der Aarhus University.

Drei Tage lang treffen PhD-Studenten, Wissenschaftler und Dozenten aufeinander, um sich mit dem Thema der transmediale 2012 zu beschäftigen.

The in/compatible research conference took place on November 16 - 18 at the Vilém Flusser Archive of UdK Berlin with the support of the Digital Aesthetics Research Centre/Centre for Digital Urban Living of Aarhus University. For 3 days PhD students, researchers and lecturers addressed and discussed the in/compatible theme of transmediale 2012.

reSource for transmedial culture ist ein neues Konzept für Projekte in Berlin, die über das Jahr hinaus stattfinden, doch auch maßgeblich am Programm der transmediale beteiligt sind. Das Statement of Interest ist eine Einladung für Kollaborations- und Partnerprojekte im Jahr 2012 und darüber hinaus, die darauf ausgerichtet sind, vor dem Hintergrund des Festivals als ein Peer-Produktions-Kontext für Wissen und Recherche, eine Plattform zu schaffen.

The reSource for transmedial culture is a new framework for festival-related projects that happen throughout the year in the city of Berlin with decisive touchdowns at each festival. The statement of interest is a call for partners and collaborations on a number of additional projects in the process of creating a distributed platform throughout 2012 and beyond, by envisioning the festival as a peer-production context of knowledge and research. 

As a beta project for the tm resource, we are organising an international PhD workshop and conference together with DARC, Aarhus Univ, hosted by UdK, Berlin. The workshop will focus on the theme of transmediale 2012: in/compatible.
